Dualing Lizards

Honey was leaving for work and yells as he is getting into the car "check out the lizards on the front porch". The words that every slightly sqeamish mother loves to hear! Of course both boys were within ear shot of these words and came dashing onto the front porch.

Knowing that lizards usually dart off quickly Turkey Lips assured me that it was dead. So he cautiously approaches and I hear "Wow it's two". So what are the chances that two lizards died in the night in the exact same spot? Yeah I already know... highly unlikely. Turkey Lips was wrong. I slowly start creeping back to the door (I don't have shoes on, can you imagine if one ran up my leg!) Turkey Lips and Turtle Toes are both on the porch now watching the lizards that seem to be frozen. If you look closely the smaller lizard is now missing its tail. It's possible they had slight disagreement. So I tough it out and get the camera. Turtle Toes decides to go back in. I get one picture taken and am just about to take a second when Turkey Lips gets really close to the lizards. He must have Aslan like breath because all of a sudden the lizards start moving. I beat Turkey Lips to the door.
